Building a bridge where there seems to be none left...

In this video, we describe our overland journey - by bus and train - from Chemnitz, Germany, to Smolensk, Russia. The video’s narration is available in German, Russian, and English. As the title “Building a Bridge Where There Seems to Be None Left” suggests, our philosophy of travel - focused on encountering, perceiving, and appreciating other cultures - is inspired by the spiritual teacher Heinz Grill. In our view, it would be beneficial for development if people actually traveled to every country - regardless of the political situation - with benevolent intentions and, through their motives, indirectly supported the country - in other words, truly built bridges. |
